Nick McElwee and James Holly we defintely on the radar, taking a convincing win in Showdown

More breeze, tight results, busy Sunday!

Another blustery day greeted entrants for the first of the long trophy races and the first of the 2019-20 Offshore Series, both races saw winds in the low to mid 20s, for most of the race, so another tough day at the office.

Club Championships underway

What a great start to the Club championships, sixteen entrants in the Harken Pennant. In the opening Beams Bros Club Championships races for dinghies, it was a women on water day.

New Season, New Sponsor to start Championships

Season 2019-2020 is under way, and its time for the major Club Championships for the season to kick off with the Beams Brothers Club Championship for the dinghy classes and the Harken Club Pennant for Division 1 and 2 starting on Sunday.

Discover Sailing Thursday 10th October

Port Dalrymple Yacht Club is inviting the community to enjoy a free sailing experience as part of Discover Sailing Day 2019 on Thursday October 10th 10:00 -1:00.

New sailing season open!

​​​​​​​Blustery conditions greeted the start of the 2019-2020 sailing season at Port Dalrymple, but that did not dampen the spirit of the full house of guests and members gathered to see Patron Peter Kearney declare the new sailing season open in perfect fashion.

Opening Day this Sunday 1300hrs

Opening to our season by Patron Peter Kearney at 1300. The sail past will commenced at 1350; with the first of the day’s racing starts will be at 1410.

PDYC Invites Junior Flag Officers

The Senior Flag Officers invite expressions of interest from youth members under 19 of age for the positions of Junior Commodore, Junior Vice Commodore and Junior Rear Commodore.

Friday social nights are back at your Club kicking off this Friday, on the eve of the Opening to the sailing season on Sunday 6th.

Shakedown run and won, in Relentless fashion.

First Shakedown needs a inaugural winner and Jason Harriss and crew on Relentless have taken the prize, Relentless capped off the Regatta with a line and handicap double, in Sunday's final race, from Rosevears to Deviot, to finish the Regatta on seven points.

Line honours went to the fleets smallest entrant Andrew Jones ShrinkEDGE finishing just prior to 2:00am. Race one win went to Jason Harriss in Relentless.
