The Tasmanian Electrical Services Sprint Series is back for its second season, as a final hit out for dinghy sailors, making their final preparations for the coming National Championship season
It's Twilight racing time, with the Clubs Saturday's Twilight Series  commencing on Saturday 23rd November, fourteen boats contested the series last season so we should be looking at a great fleet for this years Twilight.
Fast Furious and Fun, all boxes ticked for the 2019 Doyle inshore championships, big breeze Saturday was followed by less on Sunday but still brought some spectacular action on the water.Â
Courses have been tweaked this year with Windward Leeward the main course style (with the addition of offset mark) with the option of a river course finishing at the Club if tide and wind direction constrain the course area.
This is a significant step for offshore and extended coastal racing in the north of the state, with the removal of the necessity for owners to take their boats to Hobart to have them measured for IRC.
Another blustery day greeted entrants for the first of the long trophy races and the first of the 2019-20 Offshore Series, both races saw winds in the low to mid 20s, for most of the race, so another tough day at the office.
With seventeen entrant in the Club Pennants we should be able to crack the twenty starters, in the Doyle inshores with ease, make it happen, get your entry in!
