Club Championships underway

What a great start to the Club championships, sixteen entrants in the Harken Pennant, equally split between Div 1 and 2 with great conditions greeting the crews. In Division 2 Team Grump took the win, by 37 seconds from Jack Wells, in the line honours taker Supernova, with Ray Boon third in Eppopotamus. In Division 1 Andrew Jones took the line and handicap double, in ShrinkEDGE with Kevin Lloyd second in Next Question, third was Jason Harris in Relentless.
In the opening Beams Bros Club Championships races for dinghies, it was a women on water day, with Elen Hillcoat taking the win in Cheeky. in both races of the Laser class. in the NS14s Brianna McElwee and crew Nick in Indecisive, took the win, with Barrie McIndoe and Max Edmunds second, in Walk on the Wild Side, with Ruby Edmunds and Magnus McIndoe third, in Fast Asleep. Race two in the NS14s, saw Ruby and Magnus take the win, with Brianna and Nick second and Barrie and Max third.
Next Sunday see's Race 2 of the Harken Pennant sailed along with Races 3 and 4 of the Beams Bros Club Championship.
