Concrete works are complete on the new east slip bays 13-17, we can now really see the form of the new graded slabs, that will direct wash down and bottom preparation works to the capture pits.

MAST audit information

As Many mooring owners would be aware Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) recently conducted an audit on the Tamar River with several vessels within the Club controlled mooring area receiving a pink sticker.

Lots of concrete and moving to completion at pace is the weekly wrap, the Kemps Parade kerb is complete and the first of the capture pit slabs have been poured on the east slip bays 13-17

DF65 Demonstration on Saturday at PDYC

There has been a revolution in model yacht sailing in the past few years with the arrival of the DF65 production kit class and its coming to PDYC this Saturday the 4th May from 12:00 - 3:00

Another big week with the slipway historically changed this week with the first of the new concrete poured on the western side Enviroslip bays.

BOKPRINT Winter Series Time.

The five race BOKPRINT Winter Series commences on Sunday 28th April, with Race 2 on Sunday 5th May, we then skip a weekend for Mother’s Day, with Race 3 on the 19th of May. Then the series then continues weekly, with one race per day till Sunday 16th June.

2024 Two Handed Wrap

The 2024 Tamar Marine Two Handed Series sees a new name to the winner’s circle, with Nick and Narissa McElwee sailing their Hick 35 Honey Pot to the title of Two-Handed Champions.

We are on the home straight, closing on completion of the last of the in-ground works, we are starting to roll into the exciting bits, new concrete improved water supply and lots of power supply points, plus some fancy stuff.

This popular event is now one of the most enjoyable and hotly contested, the 36th Tamar Marine Two Handed Series saw Local Classic 1/2 tonner Lawless, taking the top spot in a 17 boat fleet
