New Season, New Sponsor to start Championships

Season 2019-2020 is under way, and its time for the major Club Championships for the season to kick off with the Beams Brothers Club Championship for the dinghy classes and the Harken Club Pennant for Division 1 and 2 starting on Sunday.
Port Dalrymple Yacht Club welcomes one of the icon businesses of the West Tamar on board for the 2019-2020 season as sponsors of the Beams Brothers Club Championship for dinghies. The twelve race runs through till march with the NS14 and Sabot classes ready to contest their season long Championship, with the first of the double headers being sailed this Sunday followed by races 3 and 4 for all classes on Sunday 20th October.
We welcome Harken back for their fifth season as sponsors of the Division 1-2 Points Series, with race one this Sunday and race two in the point’s series to be sailed on Sunday 20th October. The courses for the Harken Club Pennant will follow the format of last season and out of the bay where possible, with separate courses for both division 1 and 2. Great numbers continued with the Harken Club Pennant last season, with seventeen yachts contesting the series, numbers will hopefully build again this season.
