Women on Water is back on Saturday 14th March in a big way with a casual race, followed by a cocktail party at the PDYC Clubrooms featuring entertainment from the Tattooed Tenor Matthew Garwood.
Blockbuster 2020 done and dusted, looking forward to seeing all the entrants and a lot more back for the 21st anniversary of the first Blockbuster, with the Mark Turnbull and Nick Partridge and the States 49er fleet and the 20th Anniversary of the current format, not one to be missed!
PDYC Club members have been doing a clean up for the past 2 years, around the bay surrounds and over that time have removed approximately 600 kg of rubbish from our shoreline.
The Annual PDYC, members on tour, at Bellerive’s Crown Series, was again a successful trip south, both on and possibly more, off water (enough said)
The 2020 HANSA Class Tasmania Championships have been run and won at Port Dalrymple with Chris Symonds taking the win with 5 wins and a discard OCS on 5 points.
We have a fantastic entry list, lead by Chris Symonds, 2018 Hansa 303 gold medallist and 2019 Silver medallist, with our own Rob Eadie fresh from his fifth place, at Sail Melbourne in the larger Hansa Liberty Class, along with legendary Hobart sailor Craig Escott.
The popular Tamar Marine Blockbuster Weekend for dinghy classes is coming up in its new time slot 22nd and 23rd February. We have gone online with the Entries this year, links below or check the Events list on the PDYC web page.
