Members on the road to sailing Championships.

A rather rare event in recent times, is traveling to contest State and National Championships this weekend sees several PDYC members on the road. clocking up the earliest miles is Rob Eadie crossing the strait to contest the Victorian Hansa Class championships to be sailed on Lake Wendouree at the Ballarat Yacht Club, believe this will be a warmup Regatta for Rob prior to the Hansa National over Easter at the Canberra Yacht Club. Good luck Rob!
closer to home our SB20 sailors Chris Bayne and new member Mike Dontschuk are heading south for the Hardcourts SB20 Nationals hosted by the Derwent Sailing Squadron this weekend. This will be a hotly contested Nationals with top Australian crews contesting the Nationals in the 20-boat fleet, watch out for Bustamove and Delphinus in the results.
After a being caught up the Sydney Christmas shut down the NS14 Class have rescheduled their 52nd Nationals for Easter at Port Stephens Sailing and Aquatic Club. Quick thinking at Christmas, rolling their Spirit booking to Easter beating the free car rush, will see Barrie McIndoe and Terina Enniss on the NS Nationals start line, along with Ruby Edmunds and Magnus McIndoe.
