2021 Regatta royalty decided.

Glamour conditions greeted crews for the 2021 Steve’s Liquor PDYC Regatta, with a great fleet enjoying the sunny sea breeze conditions. 

The Clubs development Sabot fleet had their second afternoon race outing, with Harry Frith taking the win, from Nikolas Papas and Bailey Barker, in the five-boat fleet.
 
In the District Dinghies fleet vying for the Princess of the Tamar, Fast Asleep took the win with Barry McIndoe and Terina Enniss our new Princesses from Magnus McIndoe second, on his first Laser outing, in Liquid Asset, with the Tipan cat, of Brad Strange and Gabrelle Dewsbury third. 

The King of the Tamar was contested by a sixteen-boat fleet, with Phil Soley taking the Cock of the Tamar title, with his line Honours win, in Rip It Up. King of the Tamar went to Robin Tasker in Spindrift, with Jason Harriss Second in Relentless, Kevin Lloyd's Next Question, rounded out the top three.

The PDYC Regatta was the second leg of the of the interclub battle for the Bart Hutton Trophy, following on from the TYC Regatta on Saturday. Tamar Yacht Club held a three-point lead on Saturday, but with PDYC boats in the top three placings Sunday, the Bart Hutton Trophy booked another season, in the PDYC trophy cabinet.
