Wrap on the Doyle Inshore Champs 2021

The 2021 Doyle Inshore Championships has been run and won, with the PHS and CBH division closely contested ,along with the Inaugural Engine Reco and Parts SB20 Northern Regatta, the Bay was full of action over the weekend. Conditions were superb for the first day of racing on the Tamar River with the building sea-breeze keeping RO Greg Rowsell busy along with the mark boat crews. The breeze settled nicely at 16 to 18 knots providing near perfect conditions for the multi fleet racing, with four races completed.

Day two started slowly with forecast breeze taking time to fill in with, building to 10 to 12 knots, but starting to fade during the final race of the regatta.

Overall Results:

In the Engine Reco and Parts SB20 Northern Regatta Rebellion (Steve Catchpool), 6 points, Blue Gull/Engine Reco & Parts (Rod Glanville), 14 points, Dog House (Simone Wood) 18 points.

In CBH ShrinkEDGE (Andrew Jones), 8 points, Midlife Crisis (Nick Richardson), 13 Points, Mustard Cutter (Scott Creadon) 17.5 points.

In PHS Midlife Crisis (Nick Richardson), 16 points, Mustard Cutter (Scott Creadon) 16 points, Blew (Rob Matthews) 17 points.

In Elliott 5.9 ShrinkEDGE (Andrew Jones) 6 points, Ross Edmunds (Hot Dog), 14 points.
