WOW Saturday 16th March

After a falterd start due to weather last season Women on Water is back on Saturday 16th March in a big way with a casual race, (we will see if it stays that way) followed by a cocktail party at the PDYC clubrooms featuring entertainment from the Tattooed Tenor Matthew Garwood.
The days leisurely River Race starts at 1300 hrs, the race will feature long legs and provide great views of the Lower Tamar River Estuary and Port Dalrymple.
Crew needs to be at least 50% female *(otherwise a handicap penalty will apply) boats must have a female helm.

Following racing the Club will host participants in a cocktail party featuring the Tattooed Tenor Mathew Garwood and canapes from our very own Damon Wecker in the Galley.
Cocktails will be available featuring sponsors product from the bar. Cocktail party cost is $15 / head.
During the Cocktail Party Teresa Badrock from Leven Yacht Club will give a short presentation on the opportunities for women in sailing.
Entrants are requested to register interest to the VC Barrie McIndoe, indicating whether they have room for extra ladies, and ladies of any age who are looking for a sail are also asked to sign up.
