Time to Dash to Deviot!

New to the program but a golden oldie from past Bart Hutton days the Dash to Deviot is back sponsored by Beaconsfield hardware, racing gets underway slightly later that noted in the program, with the first start for Division 2 at 10:30 followed by Division 1 at 10:40, see Notice of Race below.
Reason for the slight start delay is more chance of wind and fitting in with Deviot's Club racing on the Saturday, with their first race starting at 1:00.
Sailing instructions will be available later in the week and on the Saturday.
The rebirth of this race was to get us out of the bay, and give those that want the option to overnight in Spring Bay or further up River and make their way back on Sunday.
Post race crews are welcome to tie up at the Deviot Pontoon and enjoy the DSC facilities.
Please note that DSC have two back to back races on the day starting at 1:00, they have been agreed to finish our race on their Club line so please respect the other sailors that will be racing their own course on the day.
Regarding lunch, there will be limited offerings available from the Deviot Canteen, as we will be ariving post their own pre racing lunch rush. But as we don't have entry numbers for them to cater too, BYO food probably safer plan, plenty of catering options to build on for next year, if we get solid entry numbers.
