The northern explorers wrap, a good chunk of the PDYC member ship went on tour to northern climes to contest the Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island and Magnetic Island Race Weeks.
Trailables CuttingEDGE, Andrew and Michelle Jones and Mustard Cutter, Fletch Creadon, had a stunning Airlie Beach Race week taking out the series in Trailable Yachts Division 1 and 2, respectively.
At Hamilton Island Thylacine One, Glenn Myler sailed the non-spinnaker division, in a super close result ended in fifth place in a three-boat count back 2 points of the win.
In the Sportsboat division and Magnetic Island CuttingEDGE took fourth place with race five winner Mustard Cutter seventh.
Thylacine One took second place in the non-spinnaker division on a count back for first. By the look of the FB posts during the regattas all boats will be able to open spirits bars with their prize winnings, congratulations all, lots of stories to come out of this adventure.
