Christmas is followed closely by Australia's Offshore racing season, with the Countries premier Ocean Races all heading south to Hobart.
In the Sydney to Hobart, Andrew and Michelle Jones, Inglis 47 AdvantEDGE is Proudly flying the PDYC flag and with their entry the passing of time see's the replication of the 50th Sydney to Hobart, when Nick Edmunds entry of Haphazard, opened the way for Ross and Sam Edmunds to rack up their first Hobart.
The 78th Hobart see's the baton passing again, with Josh Jones jointing Andrew and Bailey Edmunds Jointing Ross, on AdvantEDGE for their first trip south, the Royal's members Michael and Nick Smart, also in the father son paring. James McIndoe makes it four sets, with James on AdvantEDGE and Commodore Barrie, on Maritimo 54 for his seventh Hobart.

In the Launceston to Hobart, PDYC are well represented with Teresa Badrock and Anton Bezemer's Big Pup, crewed by Teresa, Anton, Peter Brooks, Paul Badcock, Sam Benson and Bill Rostron. Next is Tim White's Sassy, crewed by Tim, Ian White, Chloe White, Damon White, Kirsten Seaver and Callum O'Sign, the final PDYC / TYC entrant is Scott Lovell's Just Farr Love. Crewed by Scott, Mandy Barden, Narissa McElwee, Vanessa Teahan, Mitch Ranson, Murat Djakic, Rob Brunning and Ross Smith. Fantastic to see our two Committee Members, Narissa and Kirsten onboard for the L2H.
The venerable Green 31 Lawless ,is heading south again, for the seventh time, this time under charted by the DSS based, historic all female crew lead by Orla Grey.
