Tamar Marine Blockbuster Weekend Notice of Race now available.

The popular Tamar Marine Blockbuster Weekend for dinghy classes is coming up on 9th and 10^th February with entries expected from all corners of the State.

Entries have been invited from B14, 29er, NS14, Laser, Sabre and Sabot classes with a new Open Division(s) the Open Division is open to off the beach monohulls, race committee reserves the right to create sub divisions based on class or yardsticks.

Each Division expected to be keenly contested.

Four races will be conducted for each class, with the exception of the Sabots that will have three races each day, with the usual get together on the Saturday night and presentation on the Sunday afternoon.

A traditional PDYC Blockbuster Bash Dinner will be served from 18:00 by Kitchen Rymple team.

Dinner adults $25.00 and children under 16 at $15.00

The 2019 Blockbuster see’s the return of live entertainment with the band "Bootleg" will be playing from 19:30 until 23:30. They are a three piece band who are amazing and very talented performers and have played all over Launceston. So Kick off your sailing boots and put on your Boogie shoes and prepare to dance the night away.

Members note if you wish to just come along for “Bootleg” at 19:30 all are welcome, but we will ask for a small cover charge of $5.00.
