Super successful CNW Midweek Series

Port Dalrymple’s most popular series the CNW Midweek Series has wound up, with twenty boats contesting the series and a past double winner taking the podium.

RC Glen Cornish got a “bunch of old farts” (his words), together and took the 2019 series, thirty three years after Blue Prints, back to back wins in 1987 and 1988.

Second place went to Helen Strong in Trick Cyclist, the 2019 series was so close that the placings of race six decided second to fourth place with Ross Edmunds taking third, on a count back from Helen Gibson’s Hickup, fifth place by half a point was Marloo.

The 2019 CNW Midweek Series was the thirty fifth running of this popular series and with twenty starters during the series, the CNW Midweek is looking strong for 2020.
