SIs are live for the 39th Tamar Marine Two Handed Series

Published Wed 08 Apr 2026

Sailing Instructions are live for the 39th Tamar Marine Two Handed Series and its time for us to show Tamar Marine the support they have given this event since 1993.

There will be plenty of wind, so no drifting match for week one, could be the ideal opportunity for a non spinnaker entry, option is there, go YES on the entry form!

Entry form available below; entries can be made prior to 10:00 on the 12th April for the series.

Races 1 and 2 Sunday 12th April, Race 1 starting at 11:00.
Races 3 and 4 Sunday 19th April, Race 3 Starting at 11:00.

This year, all entry fees will be going into Tamar Marine vouchers for the top five placings to spend with Tamar Marine when they are back up and running, so the more entries we get, the more dollar spend with the amazing Tamar Marine team.

Minimum prize pool will be $500.00 as usual, but more entries will equal more support, along with the top five placings there will be extra boat name hat draw prizes, for the overall fleet.

A reminder of the Safety requirements we adopted in line with AS recommendations for short-handed sailing extract below.

13. SAFETY

Safety Category is AS Cat 7. (plus motor in raised operating position for outboard auxiliary yachts)
All crews are required to wear a PDF while racing.
All boats are to have a handheld VHF at hand on deck or access to a fixed VHF on deck.

So, get your one crew organized and get your entry in for one of the classic not to miss events on the calendar and show your support for Tamar Marine.
