Shakedown Update

High Winds & Snow.

Club officials are monitoring the forecast for this weekend and the 2021 Rosevears Hotel Shakedown Series, in particular, for Friday nights race 1 from Beauty point to Rosevears. In light of the BOM’s prediction of high winds and low level snow there is a high probability at this stage that Race 1 will be postponed to an early start on Saturday morning.

RO Barrie Mcindoe says "that we are keeping a close eye on the updates and will make an announcement at the briefing (Friday 1830hrs @ PDYC), but points out that the clubs priority is Safety with fun and enjoyment a close second".

With 6 boats entered, the Shakedown is going to be a hard fought series with big boats Ambition, Big Pup and Honey Pot, going head to head, hard pressed by the trailerables Meant 2B, Hotdog and Undignified; on her first outing with the club.

For those looking for a feed Friday night, Terina will be serving up Burgers and Chips from 1800 hrs to 1730 at the club house.
