Shakedown 2020, to restart sailing on the Tamar.

After a successful addition to the PDYC sailing program with six entrants last year, the 2020 Shakedown Regatta will be the first event of the long awaited 2020-21 sailing season.

This year’s Shakedown Regatta starts Friday September 18th and runs to Sun 20th.

Program Friday Night Race 1: from Beauty Point to Rosevears.
Saturday Afternoon Race 2: Round the Cans race at Rosevears.
Sunday Morning Race 3: Race from Rosevears to Deviot.

Eligibility The series is open to all keel and trailerable boats registered with any Australian Sailing affiliated yacht club, which satisfy the safety regulations set down for the series, Special Regulations 2017-2020 CAT 5N, however the organising authority, the Port Dalrymple Yacht Club, reserves the right to refuse or reject any entry.

Minimum Crew Numbers 3 persons for Race 1 and 2 persons for Races 2 & 3

Social Activity Breakfast on the Bank Saturday at Rosevears

Dinner at the Rosevears Tavern Sat Night.
