Sailing Instructions are live for the 2023 Tamar Marine Blockbuster.

Those that have been checking the online entries, would have seen we are light on for entrants this year, the Clubs thinking is that we have hit a perfect storm of sailing, for the regattas invited classes, with the four of the five classes having home Nationals and three having their States in the North in close proximity to the Blockbuster, it’s been a big season!

Entries are still open and camping available, so if your plans have changed, PDYC welcomes old and new faces to the Blockbuster. 

We have decided to continue with the regatta, but have made some small changes for ease of management and to keep the traditional Blockbuster feel.

All classes will be combined on one course area, with classes still having their different courses configurations. We have also reduced the number of races each day to three, for all classes to ensure we get the best racing, in without being pushed for time, and get some feedback, if three is more preferable number.

Please check your sailing Instructions for all the course details, revised warning signals times are: 13:20 Saturday and 11:20 Sunday, Race briefing for all classes will be at 11:30 on Saturday.
