PDYC shines at Showdown

The Royals, Hobart BMW Showdown Regatta, saw PDYC sailors shine in the first of the Tasmanian season big interclub regatta's, the Showdown provided a contrast of conditions with a blow out for the final race Saturday and very light conditions on Sunday.

The Sabots saw the PD girl’s right on the pace with Ruby Edmunds taking second in Not Today! on a countback to Daniel Maree, with Taylor Edmunds third in Whisper. Ellen Hillcoat took fifth in Another White Boat with Max Edmunds eighth in starter kit.

In the B14s Andrew and Josh Jones continued their building form for Christmas taking second in On the EDGE behind Kristy Gray, in Pinky and the Brain, with Steve Miller third in Phantom. Josh Harriss and Bailey Edmunds were fourth in Bondi Tram.

In the NS14s Sam and lindy Bailey took fourth in Arctic with some great results on Sunday a fourth, third and second, following DNCs on Saturday, Barrie and Magnus McIndoe also had a first day to forget but came back with a sixth and two fourth places on Sunday.

Great results by all with PDYC members again representing their Club with great performances.
