PDYC Regatta Day Saturday 7th February

The 2026 Port Dalrymple Yacht Club Regatta, will be sailed on Saturday 7th February, the Regatta sponsored by Steve's Liquor Warehouse and Bonney Energy, is the Clubs big race day of the 2026 season, with the Club's Major Trophies contested.

For the dinghy fleets their days racing on YV yardstick is supported by Bonney Energy, and will see a new name engraved on the beautiful Princess of the Tamar Trophy. Following on from Grady Frith taking the 2025 win in his Sabot, breaking through the NS14 dominance of the previous years. Racing for Dinghy classes starts at 1400.

The Division 1- 2 fleet will racing for two of the Club's most prestigious trophies the Cock of the Tamar, awarded to the Line Honour’s winner of the mass start of the Division One and Two fleets. The Cock of the Tamar will be hotly contested with the return of the big boats to the fleet, Ambition and Sprint Dog will be looking to keep the SB20s off the Line Honours Trophy. The overall handicap winner will take their place, on the King of the Tamar trophy, with 2025 Line and Handicap winner Honcho, lining up as a strong contender. The mass start for Division 1 and 2 will be at 13:30. 

The PDYC Regatta will be the opening race of the interclub 2026 Bart Hutton Series sailed, with race 2 of the series being sailed at the TYC regatta on Saturday 28th February.

With a big pool of prizes to go to the winners and place getters, do not miss the 2026 PDYC Regatta. The Saturday afternoons racing will be followed by a trophy presentation and evening BBQ at the PDYC clubrooms.
