PDYC Regatta Day 2024!

The 72nd Port Dalrymple Yacht Club Regatta, will be sailed on Sunday 11th February, this the Clubs big race day of the 2024 season with the Club's Major Trophies contested, the 72nd Regatta is jointly sponsored by, Steve’s Liquor Warehouse and Bonney Energy.

For the dinghy fleets their days racing on YV yardstick, will see a new name engraved on the Princess of the Tamar Trophy, following on from Barrie McIndoe and Terina Enniss trifecta in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The Division 1- 2 fleet will racing for two of the Club's most prestigious trophies the Cock of the Tamar, awarded to the Line Honour’s winner of the mass start of the Division One and Two fleets. The Cock of the Tamar will be hotly contested with 2022 and 2023 winner Mustard Cutter ready to defend their 2023 win. The overall handicap winner will take their place, on the King of the Tamar trophy after 2022 winner Resolution skippered by Tim Whits.

The PDYC Regatta will also see the race two of the interclub 2024 Bart Hutton Series sailed, following race one at the TYC regatta on Saturday, with PDYC defending their 2023 Bart Hutton win.
