M291-23(T) Port of Launceston - Inspection Head Wharf - Pile Driving Works
The barge KULANDA will be used to undertake pile driving works on the eastern (outer) face of Inspection Head Wharf, from Monday, 7 August 2023 until Friday, 22 September 2023.
Mooring blocks will be laid approximately 30m to the seaward side of the wharf face. The mooring blocks will be indicated by a mooring buoy attached to each block. The buoys will be lit by night with a yellow flashing light.
Mooring wires will run below the water from KULANDA to the mooring blocks.
Vessels are requested to transit at low speed to avoid excessive wash, and not transit between KULANDA and the mooring buoys.
