Notice to Club Members - COVID-19 

Sailing Program suspended for the remainder of March 2020

The PDYC committee has been closely following the developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, an issue which is already having an impact on our sailing community.  

Our priority at this time is the health and safety of our members and communities.

Yesterday the Commodore, in consultation with the committee and our Discover Sailing Centre manager, has made the decision to suspend all sailing activities programmed, including the final Learn to Sail & Tackers session on Sunday morning.

All activities are suspended for the remainder of March. We will provide further information during the coming weeks or as soon as it becomes available.

The health and wellbeing of all our sailors and the wider community are paramount to our Club and we ask everyone to follow all safe hygiene practices and stay up to date with the latest health advice from the State and Federal government. Including self-isolation, if you are not feeling well, if you have recently returned from overseas or come in contact with someone who has then this is most important.
