Jetty on the home straight!

After an Easter break, the Jetty reconstruction is back in full swing, with the new steel for the inner section, nearly back to the shore.

The bulk of the new handrails are in place on the outer section of the jetty, the fuel bowser has been reinstalled ready to be made live, with the arrival of the new fuel hose reel and replacement of all the electrical wiring on the jetty.

Next on the construction list is decking of the inner section and installation of handrails.

Thanks to everyone for their patience with access to the jetty we are close to being fully operational with some cosmetics items to finalise the whole rebuild.

A huge stat for this point of the project is that we have clocked up over 1400 volunteer hours on the redevelopment; this is a reflection of the passion and dedication of the PDYC membership, thank you to all.
