Inaugural Tasmanian Women’s Keelboat Regatta

The Tasmanian, Combined Clubs Committee (DSS, RYCT & BYC) will be hosting the inaugural 2021 Women’s Keelboat Regatta on the 24 April, 2021. PDYC are keen to see at least one entry from the north of the state for this inaugural event.
The Regatta will be raced on the River Derwent in the RYCT Elliott 6 one design boats (4 crew with symmetrical spinnaker), with a maximum of 12 team entries for the one day event.
This event is supported by Australian Sailing SheSails and major sponsor will be Detail First.

This will be a great opportunity to be involved in the first Womens Keelboat Regatta in Tasmania, with great prizes up for grabs!
PDYC would like to hear from any eligible women to join a team from the North to take on the challenge. PDYC will arrange practice in boats as similar as possible to the Elliot 6 one design boats to be used in the regatta.
