EnviroSlip Project Update to Members 6

Summary of the last couple of weeks, the EnviroSlip is starting to look like a slip yard again, but a much jazzier one!

Big thankyou to the construction team lead by RMB construction with Pro-Dig and Clean Green Plumbing, for punching through the Trailer Park capture pit and slab during the week to keep the Sailing program running.  

Stand out items:
Works completed update:
All new rails are installed in bays 1 and 13-17.
First of the nib wall installed.
98% of wastewater pipework, water mains and electrical conduits installed.
Retaining wall works now complete.
Main capture pit at top of trailer park launching ramp installed and slab being poured.
Kemps Parade kerb works are underway.
Water feed and power conduits to the river side of the trailer park complete.

Works to come:
Set up of treatment tanks and oil water separator.
New infill and drainage slabs between rails.
Pouring of Kerb and channel then a 7-day cure period. 

As of Thursday 18th April, access to the Trailer Park will be by the Southern gate ONLY, access will still be by a member key if gate is locked.

From Monday 15th till the morning of Sunday 21st April, the Trailer Park launching ramp will be closed.

If you have not been to the Club for a while, have a drive by and check out the progress, when you are at the Club, please remember the slipway is a construction site under the control of the RMB Construction, so there is no access. We note that you may see some Club members on the site occasionally assisting with the electrical install, and other items, please still respect that the site is restricted access and do not enter.
