EnviroSlip Project update to members 5

We are on the home straight, closing on completion of the last of the in-ground works, and starting to roll into the exciting bits, new concrete, improved water supply and lots of power supply points, plus some fancy stuff.  

Stand out items:

Works completed update:

  • Rail footings are completed on the west side with excavation material removed ready for final shaping for concrete.
  • All but two inground pits / tanks are installed.
  • Boxing has started on the nib wall along the west slip edge.
  • New water connection / meter and back flow upgrade on Flinders Street 90% completed. 
  • New water main from slip to above water main nearly completed

Works to come:

  • Kemps Parade kerb works to commence on Wednesday 17th April,
  • New pit and catch slab at the top of the trailer park ramp completed in the week starting Monday 15th April
  • Last of the plumbing, run from the new southern wall across to the ramp pit and the continuation of the water feed to the river side of the trailer park.

As of Monday 15th April access to the Trailer Park will be by the Southern gate only, access will still be by a member key if gate is locked.

From Monday 15th till, Sunday 21st the Trailer Park launching ramp will be closed.

If you have not been to the Club for a while, have a drive by and check out the progress, when you are at the Club, please remember the slipway is a construction site under the control of the RMB Construction, so there is no access. We note that you may see some Club members on the site occasionally assisting with the electrical install, and other items, please still respect that the site is restricted access and do not enter.
