EnviroSlip Project - update to members 2.
Construction on the EnviroSlip is well underway with Head contractor RMB Construction and cracking on with concrete removal and preparation of new slip bay areas. With the assistance of Prodig, the next stage of works is getting all the new pipework and pits and collection tanks in place.
First of the major works in that area is the new connection point to the Sewer in Kemps Parade, being undertaken by TasWater’s contractor on Monday 26th Feb
The last of the wash down treatment and capture pits will be onsite shortly, allowing Clean Green Plumbing to get stuck into the Pit and pipe installation.
This future proofing project, would not have happened without the support of all three tiers of government, namely the Australian Government, the Tasmanian Government and West Tamar Council, together with the Club’s contribution.
