The 2023 Confab Single Handed Series went down to the wire with only 2 points covering first to third with the final race deciding the series. sailed in a full range of condition from drifters to full on 20 plus knot north westerly, there were favoured conditions for all ten entrants through the series.
Peter Brooks sailed his Elliott 7, Live Wire to his first Confab Single Handed Series win, on 6 points with two bullets in today’s racing, sealing the series, from David O'Brien in Velsheda on seven points, with Greg Rowsell taking third in the fleets veteran, Maeve II.
