CNW Midweek update

Special Arrangements for CNW Midweek Series

As are all aware the dreaded Covid Pandemic is providing a moving feast of trials and tribulations for life in general.

To ensure that the CNW Midweeks can proceed in as close to our traditional format as possible and whilst we await the developments of the Covid front in Tassie we are making a few changes to proceedings in the interim. Due to an expected high level of participation and capacity limitations upstairs, all proceedings will take place downstairs/outside. Access to upstairs will be limited.

Racing will continue as per normal for the foreseeable future.

Race Entries will take place at the Dinghy registration desk, downstairs inside the first roller door.

Look for the Special CNW Midweek entry envelopes. Either Series or individual race envelopes will be available. Skippers, please note if you enter for the series, if your crew changes you must notify a change of crew (using an individual race envelope).

Skipper remember to check the updated Handicap List for Start Times.

After Race beverages will be served from the Sailors Wet bar (the olde kiosk)

Dinner will need to be pre ordered and paid for prior to racing – Terina will be at the entry desk to facilitate this. NO ORDER = NO DINNER, this week’s meal will be a Burger with the lot which will be delivered downstairs after racing

Even though we are outside & downstairs it is essential that everyone attending the Club should still check in using the Check in Tas App.

It is the intention to provide an environment where everyone will feel comfortable in this current situation, everyone is reminded of their individual responsibilities to social distance, sanitize and mask up, its not about doing the minimum, but doing the most to manage the beast.

Whilst it is not mandated it is highly recommended that masks should be worn during post-race festivities except when in the process of eating or drinking.

And finally, if you are feeling unwell or showing any covid symptoms please stay home and look after yourself.
