Club Pontoon update, as you would have read Rymple Banter the new aluminum frames for the replacement of the Club pontoons on the south side of the jetty are in the closing stages.
All the pontoon frames have been built and the middle pontoon is ready to go in the water on arrival with the others to have decking, fendering and floats fitted as the existing pontoons are cycled out and the floats changed over.
The Club owes a huge thank you to Confab’s Ross Edmunds and TA David Blazely doing the bulk of the pontoon frame fabrication to this point, the pontoon frames are loaded for their trip to the Club, with the transport permit now acquired after the 6-week application period.
There will be a crane and semi-trailer operating in the area of the launching ramp in the trailer park early this Saturday so please follow all instructions if in the area and be patient if access is restricted for a period.
