Clean Up Australia Day 2018

Port Dalrymple Yacht Club are going to take part in the “2018 Clean Up Australia Day “ on Sunday 4th March this year and will be collecting rubbish from the foreshores in the Beauty point, Bell Bay area in particular Point Effingham, Middle Island and the Club foreshore.

The Club is asking members with suitable boats and dinghies to be involved and the Club will make available our rescue boats the day will start at the club at 10:00am on Sunday 4th March

Should any members of the public from the West Tamar area be willing to participate they will be made welcome and should be at the Club at Kemps Parade Beauty Point by 10.00am

The Club will be registered with the” Clean Up Aust. Campaign” and will have bags and gloves available.

The West Tamar Council have agreed to provide free disposal of the rubbish on the day and the club has arranged the transport to the transfer station.

We are hoping for a family day where our members and the general public can work together toward a cleaner and rubbish free neighbourhood .
