Published Sun 19 Nov 2023

The 33rd Doyle Inshore Champs was a glamor with two days of tight close racing, in perfect 12-15 knot northerlies, if you went there, you missed out!

In the Arbitrary handicap division, it was a return to 2022 with Andrew Jones and crew on the Thompson 8 CuttingEDGE, battling with Peter Sluce on the Holland 25 Cordon Bleu, with the CuttingEDGE taking the win on, 10.5 points, from Cordon Bleu second on 15, with Ross Edmunds third in the Elliott 5.9 Hot Dog

Must note that the was a Doyle Sails wardrobe, one two three, great advertisement for the sponsors product.

In the CBH trailable rating division CuttingEDGE lead the way with six straight bullets with David Shepherd second in the SB20 Honcho with Hot Dog third.

the Engine Reco and parts SB20 Northern Regatta went to Honcho from Ben Greatbatch in Riptide. With the Elliott 5.9 State Trophy going to Hot Dog from Barrie McIndoe in Coronella.

Huge thank you to Doyle and Engine Reco and Parts for their ongoing support and to all the volunteers on and off the water for their efforts in a hosting another quality regatta.
