2021 PME 20 Day (Ninth) Island Race Documents

Eligible boats competing in Race 2-2021 20 Day Island Race must lodge an entry form, final crew list (incl Covid contact info), Crew Experience Log and CAT 4 safety Audit form with the OA (email to vice-comm@pdyc.org.au) no later than 1130 hours on the Thursday   11th November 2021

The entry fee for 2021 PME 20 Day (Ninth) Island Race is $20.00  Late entries may be accepted at the organisers discretion up until 0900 hours on Saturday 13th November (Late entry fee $40)

Entrants are reminded of the additional requirements for the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Race

Including but not limited to;

  • Special Instruction for all boats competing in the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Yacht Race, all crew shall whilst on deck during the period from sunset to sunrise shall wear a Cat 4 compliant PFD.
  • Minimum number of crew for boats competing in the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Yacht Race is (4) four, unless dispensation has been requested and granted by the OA before the close of entries.
  • For boats competing in the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Yacht Race 50% or more of the crew, including the skipper and/or person in charge shall have completed one race of the category entered or an equivalent passage. Evidence of such shall be provided on the Race Entry form
  •  For boats competing in the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Yacht Race all participating Skippers and Crew are to attend a compulsory weather and race briefing at 0800 hrs 13th November 2021 at the PDYC Clubrooms
  • For boats competing in the 20 Day (Ninth) Island Yacht Race owners’ person in charge is to provide evidence of an emergency pre-plan on what to do if the boat is compromised and details of Boat safety briefing details inc MOB Procedure to the CEA at the time of audit
