2020 L2H underway with PDYC well represented.

The 2020 Launceston to Hobart is underway, with Port Dalrymple YC very well represented. The fleets mini maxi Alive made a text book port start, to lead the fleet out of the River.

PDYC's Paul Badcock is in a very rare and exclusive club for an ocean race, skippering is self-designed and built 30' Odessa, launched in 2006 the 2020 L2H is Odessa's first long ocean race.

The big boat of the PDYC fleet is Andrew and Michelle Jones AdvantEDGE having her first race outing in eight years, after a massive eight-month refit. That has seen AdvantEDGE re-born, as a stealth grey speed machine.

Nick McElwee and Damon Wecker are having their first L2H as owners of their newly acquired Hick 35, Honey Pot.

Tim White has handed the helm of Sassy to son Ian, for the 2020 L2H, Sassy is the father son boat, with Lynn Dawson, onboard with his son Robert and Josh Harriss joining his father Jason.

Rounding out the PDYC participation, Piers Findlay is onboard Ken Goulay's Pongo 40 Green, for the trip south.
