$112,500 funding, for slipway environmental upgrade project

The Port Dalrymple Yacht Club is delighted with the commitment of $112,500 by a re-elected majority Gutwein Liberal Government towards funding of the PDYC slipway environmental upgrade project.
The slipway upgrade will protect the Tamar River from anti-fouling material and other toxins removed from hulls of vessels during the cleaning process. The PDYC slipway facility is available to the wider boating community and following the upgrade will be fully comply with EPA guidelines.
This commitment was announced by Michael Ferguson on his visit to the club on Thursday with fellow Bass candidates Simon Wood, Lara Alexander and Greg Keiser, together with Jo Palmer MLC.
