Intermediate Fleet Program – Term Program Overview


Program Focus:

The dinghy Intermediate Fleet Program is designed for sailors who have progressed beyond the Learn to Sail stage and are looking to further develop their skills through structured and consistent coaching. This program supports continued participation in club racing and class association events, providing a pathway to become a confident, independent sailor with the potential to enjoy the sport for life—across a range of disciplines and boats.

The program emphasises skill consolidation, tactical development, and boat handling in a fun and inclusive environment. It also allows time for freesailing, encouraging sailors to explore and enjoy time on the water beyond racing.

Program Details:

  • When: Friday afternoons, 4:45pm – approximately 7:00pm

  • Duration: 6 sessions

  • Cost: $180 per participant for the full program

Whether you're continuing your sailing journey or looking to grow your confidence in club racing, this program provides a solid platform for long-term enjoyment and development in the sport.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
