Australian Sailing Start Crewing Course

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sail and become part of a friendly and welcoming sailing community? The Australian Sailing Start Crewing Course at Port Dalrymple Yacht Club is the perfect introduction to the exciting sport of sailing.

Designed for beginners with little or no sailing experience, this hands-on course will teach you the fundamental skills required to safely crew on a sailing yacht.

Under the guidance of experienced Australian Sailing accredited instructors, participants will gain practical experience on the water while learning boat handling, sailing terminology, safety procedures, teamwork, and crewing techniques.

• Friday 7 November - 4 hour session
• Friday 14 November - 4 hour session
• Friday 21 November - 4 hour session

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.
